    Gördüğüm kadarıyla ikili tarama testi sonuçlarınız iyi görünüyor. Ancak tarama testi nadiren de olsa yanılma olasılığına sahiptir. Bu nedenle eğer anne baba adayının bu konuda şiddetli anksiyetesi varsa veya ultrason muayenesinde görülen bir anormallik varsa tanı testi yapılabilir. Ancak tanı testlerinin düşük oranları olduğundan kanda yapılan tanı testleri de düşünülebilir. Kanda tanı testleri maliyeti biraz yüksek olmakla birlikte düşük riski olmayan yöntemlerdir.
