    Doğum sonrası lohusalık denilen dönemde 40 gün boyunca başlangıçta kırmızı iken giderek rengi değişen ve miktarı azalan bir akıntı olur. Bu akıntıya löşi denir. Akıntının olması şarttır. Eğer olmuyor ise rahim içinde birikiyor olabilir. Löşimetra denilen bu durum doğum sonrası enfeksiyonlara neden olabilen çok tehlikeli bir durumdur. Ultrason ile muayene olmanız gerekir.
